Shiva worship in Sangam literature
Abstract
Along with internal and external principles of Tamils, people of the Sangam period lived with noble values like morality, culture and worship as social elements. Worship plays an important role in the life of Tamils. Gods such as Shiva, Murugan, and Indra were the primary gods believed to be worshiped in the life of the ancient Tamils. This article aims to know about the Tamil God Murugan among those Gods.
